Two excellent demo showcases took place over the last week and a bit. Wholesome Games and Six One Indie both ran demo-themed showcases to give their titles a bit of breathing space in between the absolute chaos of Steam Next Fest. I think this is a wise strategy, as Steam Next Fest is quickly becoming too loud to stand out in. Almost all the demos featured in my newly retitled “Indie Demo Disc” (previously just “Demo Disc”) series come from these showcases, with a couple of sneaky additions. This is crammed with plenty of wishlisted items and absolute gems. I’d say I want to pick up at least 12 of these on release week! RIP my bank account, as per usual…
