I was privileged to be one of the judges in this year’s Indie Cup Ukraine showcase as part of the judges panel for the Critics Choice award. 63 indie games being made in Ukraine were entered into the showcase for two rounds of selection. Round one asked each judge to shortlist 10-12 games based on video explanations of the game itself. After scoring, the top 10 selections go through to the playable demo round 2, where we go hands-on.
