Karting Superstars is a standalone game that takes the Circuit Superstars in a new direction. Focusing solely on karts, the game also moves from a top down perspective to a chase cam instead. Seeing the superb world from a new fully 3D perspective is a great surprise but it works extremely well.
A demo has been released with a new track with four layouts and time trial leaderboards for all. The kart is extremely fun to drive and a bit more physical due to how you throw the kart into corners and the need to ride and bounce over the kerbs. I was really impressed and it will be a day one pick up for me. I’ve put together a video of my initial impressions. You can wishlist the game on Steam.
