This festive season, I have returned to Golden Lap and tried out an F1 2024 mod with a single goal in mind: stop Sauber from finishing last! This is a long unedited season playthrough but racing and racing management games are some of my favourite games so this is just me happily playing a game in my element.

Golden Lap is a casual and beautifully stylised homage to the 70’s era of Formula 1. I gave it a 7.5/10 on release. It has since had its difficulty patched to make it a bit more challenging, making it a more enjoyable experience.
